What is Love, Emma?

Love, Emma provides you with the perfect care package to give to someone special in your life going through a difficult time. It is great way to show that you are thinking of them. The recipient of a Love, Emma care package will receive a beautifully packaged box delivered right to their door containing hand-selected gifts chosen by Emma. Emma’s experience makes her well qualified to select such gifts so you can purchase with confidence.

Who is Emma?

Emma passed away in April 2017. Emma was author of popular blog Dear Melanoma. She was a wife, fur-mumma, tea lover, pavlova obsessed, and a cancer patient. In 2013, at the age of 22 Emma was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma, a terminal diagnosis, and was given just three months to live. Thankfully Emma gained access to a clinical trial that gave her time to make wonderful memories with her husband, family and friends.

Who is the care package suitable for?

The care package is suitable for anyone having a rough time, whether it is with illness, grief, work troubles, or separation etc.

However, the care package is full of amazing products that anyone needing a ‘pick-me-up’ or just an excuse to pamper themselves would enjoy.

The range of care packages will grow over time so make sure you stay up-to-date on social media to see what is new.

When is the box delivered?

The date your gift box arrives depends on your shipping destination, keeping in mind that Love, Emma is based in Brisbane. We usually use couriers for metro areas and your package will usually arrive within 3 days (Perth and Darwin longer). Regional deliveries are usually sent via Australia Post and deliveries can take up to 10 days. All contents in the package are non-perishable and appropriately packed for delivery via courier or post.

How much does it cost?

Love, Emma care packages vary depending on your choice. An additional flat-rate delivery fee of $9.95 will be added to the cost of each care package.

How do I include a message in the box?

As part of the online ordering process, you will be given the option to add an Emily McDowell card to your order (make sure you take the time to look at her range, they are amazing!) and enter a message for the package recipient. Tamra will hand write your message on the card of your choice. If you would like a message included, but do not want to purchase a card, Emma will write your message on a Love, Emma card.

Is the box gift-wrapped?

The care package will arrive in a beautiful black box that can be kept as a keepsake. The contents of the care package will be thoughtfully packed in tissue paper and will be a real treat to open.

I'd liked the box to arrive on a specific date, can you arrange this?

The date your gift box arrives depends on your shipping destination, keeping in mind that Love, Emma is based in Brisbane. We use both courier and Australia Post. If you have any questions or would like to organise express postage, please call or email Tamra.

I would like to send the box to a hospital, can you arrange this?

It is our experience that hospitals will generally accept packages on behalf of their patients. As we will address the care package exactly as you entered into our website, we suggest that you first check with the hospital to find out the best address for delivery and keep in mind that we cannot guarantee a delivery date and if the person has been discharged from hospital. If the care package is returned to us we will contact you to arrange a new delivery address and a further delivery fee will be payable.

Can I choose what's in the box?

If there is not a care package that is suitable, please contact Tamra, happy to combine items from other boxes in order to make this an easier process.

Where can you buy the products?

You can contact Tamra if there is a specific product you would like to purchase on its own.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most credit and debit card and PayPal payments, excluding AMEX and Diners Club. If you do not have a PayPal account you can still pay using a credit or debit card by selecting the corresponding link on the PayPal checkout page.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

We are happy to assist with any enquiries you have before you make a purchase. However please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds and returns. We value our customers and take pride in our products. If you have any issue with our product or service, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver anywhere in Australia. If you want to send a care package internationally, please email or call Tamra to discuss.

Please make sure that you are clear when entering shipping address versus billing address. If this is a gift and you would like it delivered directly to the gift recipient, make sure you enter the recipient’s address as the ‘shipping address’ at checkout.

Who delivers the box?

We use two methods of deliveries depending on location. In most cases, we will use a courier service, however for regional areas we often use Australia Post.
